Question: Why a special offer for New Year celebrations and not for Christmas?
Answer: Traditionally, at Auberge Tom B&B, we close from December 22nd to December 27th to allow us to celebrate with our family. As the B&B is open year round, this moment of respite and festivities with our beloved ones is precious to us.
Question: The Quebec government does not allow private gatherings for the New Year's festivities. Should I expect reprisals if my group and I were to meet at the B&B to take advantage of this special offer?
Answer: Our B&B is a public establishment authorized to maintain its activities. Instead of welcoming 4 couples of complete strangers, we have decided to welcome a single group of up to 8 people, made up of people who know each other and who will benefit from these three nights spent together.
Question: Do you have any restrictions on who will benefit from this special offer?
Answer:We know that not everyone in our diverse society celebrates Christmas, and that New Year's celebrations are the most important for many people. We will therefore favour a group of 4 to 8 people who have not had private gatherings for Christmas and who agree to abide by the same rules dictated by the government, namely to isolate themselves voluntarily before and after the festivities. We are committed to doing our part to prevent the spread of the virus and we will be issuing strict rules to that effect.
Question: What measures do you put in place to ensure the safety and health of your guests?
Answer: Since reopening last July, we have put in place well-established measures and protocol that meet - and exceed - the guidelines issued by the government. The group that will benefit from our special offer will be required to abide by our protocol for the duration of their stay.
