Tom's Blogs > Category: The B&B Experience > November

For many people, November is the saddest month of the year. The sun sets earlier and earlier, the color of the trees has almost completely disappeared, and, year in and year out, Mother Nature sends more rain and gray weather than usual. That's the usual November idea.

That said, at Auberge Tom B&B, we prefer to look at November in a different way and present you with a more positive scenario of this unloved month thanks to our special two-night offer that will allow you to enjoy the surrounding nature and recharge your batteries before the winter and the Christmas and New Year's Eve festivities.

First of all, the cooler weather is ideal for long hikes and that's good because there are plenty of trails and paths, thanks to the Chelsea Community Trail and Gatineau Park. Would you like to discover new places that even locals don't know about? We have the perfect expert guide and can book his services for a memorable experience (extra fees).

Then the sun sets earlier, allowing us to light a nice outdoor fire as early as late afternoon and admire the starry sky, wrapped warmly in a blanket, while enjoying an aperitif. If it rains, let's move indoors by the fireplace where our guests can enjoy a tasty appetizer to accompany the aperitif, before heading to one of the region's fine restaurants or dining here at the B&B.

Finally, the various restaurants and other activities (Nordik spa, museums, etc.) are less crowded and often the rates are lower, allowing you to have fun and discover all kinds of beautiful things without the crowds of high season and at a lower cost.

In November, treat yourself to a short getaway that will make you appreciate this unloved month.

At Auberge Tom B&B, we are waiting for you!

Take advantage of our November Special Offer valid from November 1 to December 17.
